I was informed the other day by a guy I caught on my family's property that because I am not the land owner (uncles name is on the deed for the land) I have no right to run him off and that it is infact illegal for me to do so..... Is there any truth to this? My unlce does not hunt and I take care of the property... he has told me to run off anyone I do not want backt here because he gives permission to no one at all.

Sounds like you need to contact your local officer. If you are in Vigo Co or any surrounding counties, call 765 795-3534 and ask for Max. If you are in Parke County, send me a private message and I will take care of your problem. Your violator is incorrect in that you don't have the right or authority to run him off if in fact you have been granted the care taker of your uncle;s property. Sounds like he needs to be pinched for hunting without consent!!!  |
