Are we as hunters allowed to use a spotlight when searching for a wounded or downed deer? And if not...then where is the line at as far as how big of a flashlight we can use? I usually carry a dececently sized flashlight when i go on evening hunts and is that ok too? Thanks! Kjrackmaster

KJ, Yes, you are allow to carry a flashlight to search for a deer that you have taken. However, it is illegal to possess a loaded firearm in the field after legal shooting hours. This is includes while searching for an animal you have taken. As for the light, no matter what they say "Size does NOT matter!" ICO Winchell
