It's probably staring me in the face in the Regs and I can't see it, but how "processed" does a carcass (deer or hog) have to be to legally brought into the State?
Fully Butcher Packaged? Just boned out? Quartered?
Not talking Heads/skulls, just meat.
Thanks.

I don't think 'processed' is defined in the statute, but I would have to think that 'processed' in this manner means: wild game meat that has either been removed from the bone or cut with the bone in and/or packaged in a manner that would allow for cold storage. A quartered carcass is not processed, it is as its name suggests, 'quartered'. I would think that if you just boned out the meat, it would almost have to be 'packaged' in some way to allow for transport and preservation. Guys, any help here or other interpretations?
