What happens when a landowner takes a raccoon, coyote, etc., and then calls a CO within 72 hours? Does the CO simply record the information and go on, or do they need to come to the property to view the animal?

It depends. The officer may tell you how to dispose of it, or he may want to come and look at the damage, or may want to pick up the animal. Every situation is different.......the main thing is that you contact an officer within 72 hrs.
