deer archery tags????

If I buy a early archery license it says I can take 2 deer but I have been told that I need to buy 2 license to take 2 deer??? The book says with the archery license I can take 2 doe OR 1 doe and a buck I take that to meen I can take 2 deer for the $24 it cost for the license is this true or will it cost $48 to take 2 deer.

You may only take one deer PER LICENSE. You must use purchase a second license to continue hunting.
