What does an out of state (IL) youth need to purchase a license in Indiana? Indiana Hunters Ed. Card - Illinois Hunters Ed Card - If he intends to deer hunt with archery, does he need the archery specific hunters ed.? Thank you.

Any state approved hunter-ed card will satisfy the requirement. He does not need a bowhunter-ed cert. to bowhunt unless he is drawn for some of the archery-only park hunts.
