Over the weekend we had a group of us went tubing, was good to see so many people out in the park. As we went down the creek we kept all of our trash to dispose of it properly when finished. When we got to Cox bridge we were told by the rental company that the bridge was part of the S.P and they was not allowed to place trash cans there? Is this true? If so kinda defeats the purpose of trying to keep the park clean.
On a side note simply amazing that a 1000. fine still don't keep people from jumping!
Thanks

I probably looked over your group on Sugar Creek through a pair a Nikon 10X42's. I was on Sugar Creek (on the creek bank, hidden in the vegetation) at Turkey Run this weekend, and about every weekend in the summer. I work Parke County and we are EXTREMELY busy with the tubers and canoers up there. ACtually the fine for jumping off of the rocks (swimming in an unauthorized area) is $110.50, and you are correct, they still jump anyway! Yes, the Coxford Covered Bridge is part of the Park, and they do not place trash recepticals there. The canoe rental folks usually pick up the trash there.
