Coming home from Terre Haute last night, I took a side road(which is normal for me) as it was almost dusk, just to look around for wildlife. I saw one large herd of 27 animals, none of which had a discernable rack, munching in a clover field. I actually stopped and counted them. I also sighted several groups of 3-8 deer. All together I probably saw 75-100 deer in the Parke Co area. But what I saw that really caught my attention was a Lynx.It looked exactly like the Canadian variety: I did not take this picture. I only posted one to show what it looked like. I saw this animal standing in the road just a few miles northeast of Turkey Run SP. Just thought you CO's might want this info.
