There are a couple of county park lakes that I would like to fish, but bank fishing is at a premium due to trees down to water. What are the requirements needed to be met in order to use one of the pontoon type, float boats? Aside from a pfd of course, No way would I get on one of those things without one. Nor am I thinking about using an electric motor there although a trolling would work well at other state areas. Thanks.

It would depend on the body of water. I am not too terribly famliar with the county park lakes in Vigo Co. Of course, as you mentioned, a PFD would prolly be a good item to have, as well as a fishing license. A private lake or pond would not require a person to have a fishing license, unless it has ingress or egress of state water or fish from state water. Shoot me a PM with some names of the lakes and I will ask around for you. Dave
