Not bad, pretty good job there Woodmaster..... NOT BAD?......PRETTY GOOD JOB? The details in the eyes and nose are unbelievable. Hair positioning is correct (long and short). The ear butts are anatomically correct and positioned right. No visible seem. I would have this mount judged against any commercial mount and most competition mounts. I've been tp the National NWTF conventions many times and Schmeltzs' Taxidermy work on turkey, to me look better than Cally Morris's work. I'm sure your taxidermist does a great job but Cally Morris has won the World Championship SEVERAL times. I can't imagine anyone doing better work than him. A lot of taxidermist do a good job that looks great but the animal/bird isn't anatomically correct.

Woodmaster,
That is about the best looking deer mount I have even seen posted anywhere on the net.
Great looking buck and great looking taxidermist job.
He put some time into that one.
Did he charge you extra?

Woodmaster, That is about the best looking deer mount I have even seen posted anywhere on the net. Great looking buck and great looking taxidermist job. He put some time into that one. Did he charge you extra? Thanks! Dean and Todd do a great job. That deer was mounted 5 years ago. He actually cut me a deal on the price. After the skinning, lip spilitting and tanning process the actual mounting takes about 4 hours! They mount around 200 deer, 75 turkeys a year. American Taxidermy is the only studio I know that has 3 full time & 1 part time employee.
