This is a strange question, but here goes: My Son wants one of those mounts of a deer's rear end with the tail up for his room. I think he wants to irritate my Wife :-). Normally, when you field dress a deer you remove the rectum as part of the process. If you don't, the hind end quickly rots. How do you get the deer to the taxidermist without ruining the hide? If the taxidermist is close I guess you could just run it over, but what if you're downstate? Is there a secret to this that I'm just missing?

Yeah, you call Sportsmans Guide or Cabelas or whatever mail-order catalog it is that sells them and order one there. Sorry to be a smart-a$$ (no pun intended), but that's all the help I can give you. I have no idea on a real deer what you need to do.

I saw them in Sportsmans guide at one time. The last catalog I recieved had one in it, so a search on the website should turn something up somewhat quickly.
