Starling Black Birds

I have been overan with Starling black birds. they are nesting behinde my chimney on my house and in my old Maple trees next to my house. They are crapping everywhere. on the side of my house. My question can I kill them without getting into trouble? I would hate to get arrested for poaching Starlings. PS. I live out in the sticks so safety is not a factor unless I blast a hole in my roof.

Have at them. Starlings are not protected by IN or Federal law. A great opportunity to let a .17 HMR show it's stuff!!!!
