I just bought a jon boat and trailer from a guy who works for me. The boat has no motor and no title. Does anyone know how I go about getting it re titled. I have my own motor and I basically keep it in the Tippe river all year. Please let me know.
An until I get a title what do I need to fish in it

You should have gotten a written receipt from the person you bought it from. If not, get one from him. Then go to the BMV and request an application for a title. They will get the process started for you.
In the mean time, if you want to fish from it on state waters, you can only use paddles or oars. A registration is required if you use a motor, gas or electric.
