inregards to jacks post, how about an actual answer we can ALL read? With a couple hundred views, there seems to be some interest in the answer.

If you know the bait is there (regardless of who put it there) and you hunt it anyway, you are in violation, in my opinion. I know of no regs that prohibit placing minerals out for wildlife on public property, as long as the minerals are not hunted over or around in the area. You can be held accountable for intentionally baiting an area to prohibit another person from hunting there...that could possibly be viewed as hunter harassment. Could there possibly be a chance that someone has moved in on another persons honey hole on public ground and that person decided to 'fix' the meddler for getting too close to his favorite public deer hunting spot? ? Hmmmm...... I think that the couple hundred views of interest is from guys wanting to see what Jack is stirring up again...
