I'm thinking about putting together a fur sale in the south
somewhere (anywhere) south of Indianapolis not sure where exactly yet but I would like to know if anyone would be interested in attending and selling their fur. the proceeds with go to trappers ed classes and camps throughout the state. It would purchase things like , NTA trappers handbooks , FTA,NTA and ISTA youth memberships to give away. traps and anything else that will be needed to make these camps and classes a great time for the kids. Whatever ideas anyone has would be great.
This is not set in stone , I'm just wanting some feed back possibly some location suggestions date suggestions and such
The reason I'm choosing the south is that the ISTA already has a north sale that is very large and well attended that I do not want to compete with they however cancelled their southern sale this year.
I could use some help if anyone is interested. PM me or email me

Who are you going to sell fur to? I guess I'm confused about what you want to do.

It's for people come to and sell their fur guys. Lonnie is trying to get a sell together that fur buyers will attend so hunters/trappers will be able to bring in their fur and the fur buyers buy it.

It is a fur Sale you and anyone else can sale their fur in a action
same as the ISTA has been doing for the past several years they cancelled their southern sale
I can put one together but just need to know if anyone is interested
any profit would be earmarked for trappers ed classes

Join and support your local FTA (Fur Takers of America) fur sales. Most Indiana chapters have two sales a year. These chapters in Indiana are the back bone for the rights of Indiana trappers.
