Part of the reason people don't see them is because they are creatures of the woods. They like thick stuff, and can even climb trees. They are not like a yote or a red that spend a lot oftime out in open fields. Cool picture, thanks for sharing.

He was about 2 miles from Olean when the picture was taken! ;D But now I don't know where he is!

They can really climb trees? Wonder what makes them able to and not a red? I know they are smaller but does that make much difference?

Ya, they can climb trees, not like a squirrel, but they can. It has something to do with their claws/feet.

Cool! What I wouldn't give to be sitting in the treestand and see one do that with me video taping the whole thing. That would be something to share on Hunting-Indiana! ;D

I deer hunt on friends place and it is loaded with greys, they are very pretty.
