I was wondering if there is law against something like this in Indiana. It dont look like it would be very safe for the deer to me. Could be a bad situation id the antlers got stuck but werent ready to come of yet.

There are no regulations to my knowledge that prohibit the use of antler traps in IN, as long as the device does not catch and hold, injure or kill the deer. There are laws that prohibit the trapping of deer, in which a poorly designed antler trap could be capable of, and therefore would be illegal to use in IN.
