heard a bunch of noise outside tonight and looked out and had 4 little coons in my trash can, 2 got out and was stuck with 2 youngins in the trash and momma was watching from across the yard. I called the local authorities to see about animal control and he told me they won't be in until mon and to call an animal removal comp and pay to have them removed. I figured that is what animal control was for.....

Well if you didn't want to take care of them just tip the can over. If they are in a dumpster put a board in there at an angle so they can climb out. If you wanted to make sure they don't make another problem take care of them yourself and notify your local CO after the fact.

I sure wouldn't want coons hanging around my house, especially if I had kids!

animal control deals with dogs and cats, not wildlife Unfortunately our Mayor doesn't seem to like the ADC guys in town. He kept pushing or Animal Control to do it and was refused for a long time. Last year a new Animal Control guy was hired and our calls have dropped significantly. Although, we do seem to keep getting all the bat, skunk, and snake calls.

He is not, but supposedly there is a line somewhere that allows for him to do it as long as he is on he clock. We have talked and he calls us for most cases now. They used to call us to help when they caught a skunk while trying to catch cats and we were nice enough to let them know help would be withheld if they kept dealing with wildlife.
