Mountain Lions? I have been hearing too many stories from credible sources concerning a growing lion population. What would be the DNR's stance be concerning this growing trend?

Growing trend.....unlikely. I know of ONE confirmed case in western Owen County. I saw the trail cam pictures from the SD card itself. More than likely the cat that escaped from the breeder in Clay County. My personal opinion...over 90% of the sightings are misidentification of some other animal. Why aren't more pics showing up from trail cams? Why aren't there any being killed by deer hunters? The one's we have are most likely those that unreportedly escaped from licensed or most likely UNLICENSED breeders. Not an official stnance, only my opinion.
