Will the heavy snow make coyotes any more responsive to calling? I was thinking that a warm meal from a distressed rabbit might be pretty appealing to them.
What do you think?

I have always thought basically the same thing, the colder and nastier it is would make those yotes come in faster. My thinking this year has not worked out real well, I switched from mouth calls to electronics this season and haven't had much success.

They may respond faster but the snow hampers them moving fast so you need to sit longer..., if that makes any sence.

My wife is just now sewing a snow camo suit up for me so I can try going out in the AM(she got the material for a suit several years ago). I've never specifically gone out 'yote hunting but I'm getting tired of hearing when ever I am hunting everything else. I got a howler and rabbit distress call plus figure I'll take a turkey box call with me too, so this should be interesting. At least it will get me out of the house and maybe burn off a few calories that need to see some cold air.

Well I told her to make the suit large enough to just pull over everything else....she just yelled at me to try it on. It was obviously a little on the large side ;D So just to see how big it actually was I just stood in one leg of the pants while my daughter stood in the other leg of the pants- then she put one arm in one side of the jacket while I had an arm in the other sleeve with the front of the jacket still overlapping.....I think it's large enough ;D All this while my wife was busting a gut laughing at us! I may be looking like the abominable snowman standing amongst the trees tomorrow But I wouldn't trade my wife for anything 'cause she's working hard on "taking it in a little" ;D

Or, if you're as fond of food as I am you might just grow into it.

Well the "Abominable Camo Snowman" hit the woods this AM. Set-up three times over the space of a couple hours but never saw the first sign of any toothy critter. Got my turkeys located for the season though and thought I was going to get ran over by a herd of deer on the way out of the woods-prolly a dozen deer with one real small one(half the size of the biggest ones) and one decent 8 pointer that obviously still had his head gear.
Will have to try it again-I know they're back there but just have be in the right place at the right time.

My snow camo = 1 white sheet from wal-mart with hole in middle to fit my head through.

Yea, it looks good in the right situations, and covers most of you while sitting.
