In Boonehunter's coyote question you stated that " a continuously burning light visible from 500' must be carried". Does it have to be a white light, or is colored ok? Visible from all directions or not? It seems pointless to use night vision devices if a Coleman lantern is hanging over your head disrupting the device and tipping the coyotes off to your presense. Could the hunter employ a red or green light visible from behind his position, but not visible from the coyote's side?
