As far as coon go, I'm sure the howling winds and temps in the low twenties had something to do with that!

Decatur not sure what he is using but I just use Mackerel out of the can that you get at the grocer store ini the tuna isle.. have always had good luck with it..

Ya, I've used that before too. I have a couple different recipes of coon bait that I make. I was just curious as to what he is using.

Jack Mack,Marshmellows,Peanutbutter,Bacon Grease,and a couple different lures.

I don't trap, but I did live trap and relocate some coons that were raiding my bird feeder nightly.
I used a small can of cheap cat food as bait. Worked every time..

I've done the same thing, although I just poked a few holes around the perimeter of the can with a can opener. The bait can be reused a few times that way.
That reminds me, I really should get my trapping license. I need to thin out the 'coons around here, and try my luck setting a few sets for 'yotes.

Well no pics today but I did catch another coon,probably about 16#'s.From looks of the forcast dont look like I will be catching any more coons for a while,but im hoping that we get the snow they are calling for later in the week.If we do I will be out setting snares for fox and yote.
