I always heard tracers weren't good for your barrel. Anyone know anything about this?

I saw a varmint hunting show on TV where the hosts little kid was using them. It sure showed where the bullet went! I wouldn't use them if it was really dry out tho.

They won't hurt any barrel that i know of, but be very, very careful with them. They absolutely, positively WILL set the woods (and most anything else) on fire.

I would think the FMJ bullets used in tracers would also retain a lot of velocity and energy after going through a coyote or fox. That means thinking even more about where that bullet is going after hitting the mark.
