So want to hear where you guy's put your crosshairs??? I just want to thin some out so don't know if I will be keeping them or not. I have a friend that traps and if he wants them I will take them to him. But want to know where the best place is to put the bullet? Head, Heart, Neck? ?? Want to put the animal down fast but also don't want to hurt the value of the fur. Thanks BB

I head shoot. Fur houses rarely care about the head.

I head shoot. Fur houses rarely care about the head. Definitely. It negates the body armor protection. ;D

I would say it depends how far you are away. Head shot would be ideal but most professionals shoot for behind the front leg. Headshot would also be better for shotgun.

I head shoot. Fur houses rarely care about the head. Going into the "coyote" business (aka fun hunting). Always wondered and the gun is certainly capable. Learning curve for me will be long lol. Thanks for that info. This fall my priorities are getting rearranged to put more on coyotes. Summer project (started early) is in gear. First trip to the range yesterday. Much to do yet but......had to shoot in that wind. LOL I was pretty amazed what did and did not happen with the 17AH. Main thing I found out? It shoots better than I DO and I need to work re-engage the single set trigger of the CZ 527. (you can take it in and out at will and owner didnt use it). God Bless Steve
