Shed Hunting

Have had a few people tell me that shed hunting is illegal in indiana and the CO's are going to start writing tickets for it.
I thought sheds were ok but had to get a tag for a dead buck.

Just wondering if this is correct...

You are correct can legally pick up shed antlers in IN, but need a permit to take the antlers from a dead antered deer, other than one you legally harvested and tagged/checked-in.
