My landowner gets depredation tags for deer, and the depredation time period overlaps the spring turkey season. Can I carry a deer weapon (a 44 handgun with scope, maybe) and a shotgun with #5 shot for turkey at the same time? What about carrying slugs in a shotgun, with the #5 shotshells as a secondary load? What about a .308 rifle (for deer) with a 410 pistol for turkeys? I do have a concealed carry permit, but it's obvious that I intend to hunt deer and turkey both, if possible.

According to what I was able to locate in the law. The scenario you described would be legal.

You do need to ensure you are hunting with a legal weapon. Turkeys can NOT be hunted using a 410 pistol,
