Is it legal or not to have blunt tipped arrows along while bowhunting during deer season, for use on small game with appropriate licences.

(b) During the archery season established in section 4(c) of this rule, an individual must hunt deer only with the following equipment: (1) A long bow or compound bow that has at least thirty-five (35) pounds pull. (2) Arrows that are equipped with metal or metal-edged (or flint, chert, or obsidian napped) broadheads.
I read this to mean that you can only have broadheads.

I was not 100% correct on this answer. It has actually became a topic of discussion due to crossbows becoming more popular. It is normal practice for a hunter to discharge a bolt with a field tip at the end of their hunt to 'release' a crossbow versus shooting a bolt with a broadhead. Therefore, it would not be illegal to possess an arrow or bolt with a field tip as long as the arrow was not used for hunting deer.
I hope this did not cause any confusion.
