me and a friend are planning to go hunting at hoosier national forest and i was wonder if we are allowed to camp and hunt in the morning and leave. That way we can scout out a good tree as for we live in franklin in. and my friend is in college so we didnt have the time to go scout. I know that a few years ago i used to go camping with my dad and grandpa during shotgun season there but i was just wondering if it is still allowed and is there any rules we need to know of. thanks for any help ;D

For the most part, Hoosier National will allow camping unless it is posted. However, State property only allows camping in designated camp grounds. This is important information because there are certain places where a state and federal come together. One allows the camping, the other does not. Need to be sure where you are at. Maps are available at property offices.
