Hello all, new here. I'm from Minnesota originally from Lake Cicott,IN. I trap up here and for mink, coon, beaver and otter we usually trap next to culverts and under bridges and we have the rite to trap in what they call the road rite away. Just wondering if it was the same there? Of course most of were I trap is all state and federal land so trespassing is not a concern but a few of my sets are in the road rite away on private property, wich is legal.

In INdiana a person can only trap on state property through a draw or selection process that is conducted on that property. To trap other areas, you would have to have consent of the landowner due to the traps being staked on the actual property.
