I live up in the northern part of Minnesota and process deer during season and can get capes off 160lb plus bucks if anyone would be interested. These are very heavy capes and will only be rough skinned capes, I will not be turning ears, lips or anything like that. I will be makeing a trip down to Logansport at the end of November if anyone is interested. Can provide registration info if needed. PM if interested.

What kind of pricing are you thinking? I might be interested but currently do not need anything. Thanks for posting though, I will keep you in mind.

Just going off ebay price's I should get $60 I would think. I live just south of Canada 70 miles so theise deer are very heavily hided. Can even provide Pictures of each deer before capeing.

That is not bad pricing at all. $60.00 is about average for a cape unless it is huge and then you could get much more. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks Budd, I will definately keep you in mind for the martin. I think they are neat animals and would love to mount one for a display piece. I am state and federally licensed Indiana taxidermist so I can possess anything legal. Thanks again.

We get the occasional bright orange chested martin here but not that common. Get one from Maine, they are beautifully colored.
