hey guyswas wondering how /when the rut will be is swing here in NWI. i havent been out at all this year. do to to many family issues and topped by depression..... but now that i have been on meds for a bit i am starting to think maybe ill go out for the rut(archery ) so any helpful info would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

Not sure about up North, but in Southern Indiana it is in. Good luck and be safe.

Up until about last friday there were no signs, in the last few days rubs and scrapes just about every place you would expect to see them.

I hunt in Cass Co, and its on, Opening Day of Gun season was wild even though I never Killed But saw more Mature Bucks on there Feet during Daylight hours, I would think its Happening in your Neck of the woods also.

THE RUT SEEMED TO KICK IN GOOD ON NOV 2 IN NW IND I HUNT EVERY DAY BEING RETIRED ITS IN A BIT OF A LOCK DOWN BUT A FEW BUCK ARE STILL MOVIN DURING THE DAY I GOT A 150 IN BUCK ON NOV 18 AT 1154 AM ALMOST NOON ON A TRAIL CAME SO I WOULD SLEEP IN AN HUNT TEN TILL 3 IF YOU WANT A NICE BUCK ALSO AROUND THE END OF THE MONTH IT WILL RAMP BACK UP GOOD LUCK
