How close to a legal roadway and a dwelling are you allowed to hunt? I know that you can't hunt/shoot from a roadway, shoot at/kill an object/animal from a roadway, or in any way shoot a weapon across a roadway in Indiana. Years ago I thought the regulations use to state a specific distance for both a roadway and a dwelling, but I cannot find any information in them about either one.

I do not know of anything dealing with a dwelling under the hunting statutes or administrative codes. The following Indiana code deals with the roadway concern.
IC 8-2.1-17-14 "Public highway" Sec. 14. "Public highway" means a street, alley, road, highway, or thoroughfare in Indiana used by the traveling public. As added by P.L.99-1989, SEC.8.
IC 14-22-6-9 Shooting from or across public highways prohibited Sec. 9. A person may not: (1) hunt, shoot, shoot at, or kill an animal; or (2) shoot at an object; from within, into, upon, or across a public highway in Indiana. As added by P.L.1-1995, SEC.15.
