Going out thursday morning to try and call some coyotes. I hunted them for a cpl years now but the only time i have ever dropped one is when im deer hunting, never had one come into my call. I dont really know what time i need to be set up and what call sound i should start off with. I have an e-call but no decoys. I thought about tying a turkey eather to a six letting it dance in the wind. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Coyotes can be called all day and night, but right at dawn and dusk are most effective, including the first few hours on each side. Pay attention to the wind and start off with a low volume call. Most people call too loud. Predators can hear very well and will come a long way to a call.
Rabbit distress works well as does a fox pup distress. Ecallers are nice, but I like a mouth call. Try sitting the call out in front of you 40 or so yards.
I've just started using a howler and don't know if I like it yet or not
