Mountain Lion in Missouri caught in Trap

This MT Lion was just caught in Missouri. This is now the 23rd or 24th wild MT Lion confirmed in Missouri in the last 10 years.

I hunted NE Missouri in bow season and saw several coyotes and had a bobcat chase a rabbit directly under my stand. I was told a mountain lion had been seen in the area a couple weeks before I got there.

That's around the 7th or 8th one I can remember hearing about in the last year.... Even if there is no breeding population there (supposedly they are all dispersing males), something tells me that the breeding population is getting closer!
