Okay I kno I've been burning ya up but here's another one.
I'm fishing the Ohio river from the Indiana side. But fishing by boat I have a Kentucky license. If I come back to Indiana and go home and I get checked by a c.o. Can I claim a Kentucky license? Or is it primary state. I have been told you can claim ky license. ReSons you would want to is to be able to take 2 spoonbill and 5 catfish in the river with a ky license.
Just wondering if a person has a choice when vein checked on which license to present to a c.o.

The license required would be the license which was used at the time of the taking. In this case, if the fish was taken in Kentucky under the Kentucky nonresident license then that license would need to be produced.
IC 14-22-10-4 Possession of fish or game taken in foreign nation or state Sec. 4. (a) A resident of Indiana who has a nonresident hunting or fishing license issued by another state or country may possess in Indiana the number of wild animals that the resident could and did legally kill, take, and possess under authority of the nonresident license in the state or country issuing the license, under the rules provided in this article. (b) A person may not possess a wild animal taken, killed, and possessed in another state or country if the taking, killing, or possession of the wild animal is illegal in the state or country issuing the nonresident license. As added by P.L.1-1995, SEC.15.
