I know the rules on baiting. My question is: How far away from bait is it legal to hunt? There has to be a distance or can my neighbor keep me from hunting my property by putting out a salt block on his property?

There is no set distance that the bait has to be away from the hunter. Our officers use thier discetion very well in these cases. If a reasonable person would believe that the 'bait' was placed there to aid the hunter in the taking of a wild animal where baiting was not allowed, the area would be considered baited.
