In an effort to scout out some good coyote hunting spots, I'd like to go out at night on public property with my caller and spotlight and see what I can find.
My question is, is this legal? I'm not hunting, simply scouting, and the only weapon I would have on me would be my P99 (I have a LTCH, though I would leave this in the car if need be).
I didn't see anything in the regulations saying you can't, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
Thanks for the help!

I was not able to find in the statute where it would be illegal as along as you did not have any type of firearm with you. However, due to some properties having special regulations, I would check with the property manager of the respective property prior to engaging in this activity.
