I was fishing this evening and noticed the sign at the DNR access site I was using. It says, "Discharge of firearms on access site property is prohibited."
My question is this: Provided it is otherwise legal to discharge a firearm (i.e. no local ordinances and you're in the river / on public property) how far from the access point must you be in order to hunt with a gun? I'm considering the area for waterfowl season.
Thanks!
