Okay just read a good article on this gun. It's the cheapest out there or close to it for the AR boys. In the reading it said that you could get this gun for around $600-$650. That's a good price. The guy said it's a good gun and seems to have put the gun through the ringer in testing it out. My question is this. Where can I find a dealer that has this gun? I did a search on yahoo and came up with a lot of info on the gun but no sellers. Does anyone know a shop that might have this gun. I'm in Southwest Indiana so Terre Haute, Bloomington would be a short drive for me. Thanks! BB

Check with your local shop to see if they can order it for you. If you are willing to tinker, I think you could build an AR for cheaper than $600.

goosepondmonster, have you had one of the M&P's in your hands? I haven't had any experience building one, I've played with and cleaned a lot of different brands.
I'm toying around with building one. It sounds like you've built a few. I know I'm asking for specifics, but in today's market, what parts should I be looking at (mfg) and at what prices? .223 flattop, varmints out to 200 Yds - not a heavy bull barrel gun, something that I can carry easily along with the e-caller, shooting sticks or bipod, etc.
While maybe not the best for a battle rifle, the M&P's seem to be built to tighter tolerances - less rattle/looseness. It may not make a bit of difference in accuracy, but the M&P's that I've played with don't need the rubber spacer that you put in the back of the receiver to keep the barrel from moving around in the receiver, and out of the box, the trigger, at least to my finger, is better.
