Is the Indiana Hunting Guide correct where it says that the hunter orange on blinds cannot be some kind of flag? It seems to me that a 12x12 flag flying above a hunting blind when occupied would be more viewable than something attached to the side. Thanks for your help.

Yes the hunting guide is correct. "A flag placed on top of a blind does not satisfy this hunter orange requirement." A 'flying flag' would still only be visible from two sides. The statute states that its has to be 144 square inches on each side.
