911 thought he saw a couple yesterday alone by themselves..... I think I spotted a couple mixed with a flock of Canadas last year late in the waterfowl season flying over the Home Depot in Noblesville.... How rare is it for us to see snow geese in Central Indiana, or any part of Indiana for that matter? I've never seen any in hunting situations......I'd love to get a crack at one to put it the wall!

well first of all those probably were not snows that 911 saw they were probably just farm geese mixed in with canadiens. There are tons of those around greenfield because people buy them when they are young then when they get big then what are they going to with them. So alot of people take them to the local park. Then they breed the with canadiens. Two years ago we shot eight geese all with orange legs and orange bills. Of course they didn't count against our limit, but it was good to get rid of them

I've seen as many as 70 (snows and blues) in one flock already. We had that group coming to the decoys but flared. I also had the opportunity (3 years straight) at a couple specks and missed.

Excellent..... So it's not out of the realm of possibilities.... Very cool just to have that hidden gem mixed in!

Yes I missed and I've learned my lesson. This year I'm leaving the Red Ryder at home.

Saw a flock of 60 or so snows and blues 3 years ago around Summit while hunting. Couldn't get them to do anything though. 2 years ago this spring we saw a big flock of Specks out on province pond. They definitely took a wrong turn somewhere.
