trapping license

I just bought my hunting, trapping, and fishing licenses at the local Gander Mountain.
I took advantage of the DAV provision, and the clerk said my trapping was covered under my hunting license. This seemed odd as the three had always been seperate before.
Is this a change?

No, it has not changed. You would be required to possess a trapping license while trapping. However, there is NOT a DAV provision for a trapping license only hunting and fishing licenses.
