The Hunting and Trapping Guide specifically says that for the free youth hunting days and the apprentice license the youth or apprentice hunter must at all times be in close enough proximity to communicate with the accompanying licensed adult.
But the guide does not indicate the same requirement for a licensed youth hunter.
My question is - Does a licensed youth hunter need to stay in close proximity to a licensed adult while hunting?

A youth who has been certified in hunter education, does not fall under the guidelines of an apprentice license. The being in close proximity does not apply. They are allowed to hunt by themselves.
