A bud and I drove down and checked out the wabash tonight. . Found the public access ramp fairly easy. Pulled in the lot and WOW!!!! That river was flowin!!! What the heck, we drove this far,, lets check it out. Put the boat in and WOW!!! The current pulled my trailer sideways as soon as the boat was free... Did I mention that river was FLOWIN!!!. We drove this far,, LETS LOOK!!!! ... After about 3 miles, we started seeing woodies,, then more woodies,, then even more woodies... Did I mention we saw some WOODIES. MAn that river was high. Each little creek or impression in the bank that had and eddy was holding woodies. Then we ran out some geese in 3 different spots. 1st time I have been in this area, but I think we are gonna give it a shot in the morning. Just hope there is not that many boats there. Total waterfowl seen. About 500 woodies, dozen mallards, and 3 dozen geese. ;D ;D ;D

Let us know how you do! Be careful out there on the river.....can be tough when they are running high and you aren't too familiar with where you are going.
