I was in the bathroom putting on some warm clothes and these guys came right over the house and headed east and I ran outside with the Strait Meat Cackler and hit them with a few fast clucks and they turned back to the pond, locked up, and its where they still sit. Then a few ducks joined them. There are 5 dekes out there in the back left. The rest are alive.   |

Well I had to go help the neighbor with some work and I came home to some ducks on the pond. I put the sneak on them but I guess I wasnt sneaky enough. They took off, I called them back, they locked up and started to drop then flaired and headed the other way. I guess Im not as sneaky as I thought.

Get in the corn, then belly crawl from there to the pond edge........get the wife to video tape it from the house......

The corn is what I was thinking too! Walk right up to the edge and pound em when they jump up!

Hey I thought about that. Thats whats going to happen next time. Off to the right of the pic there's a hill (where a pit might end up ;D) and corn right behind it. I should have went that route. Hopefully the trend continues. Yesterday there were 2 honkers, today there were what you see in the pic. What will tomorrow bring?
