Im fox trapping for first time and got some supplies. I am just wanting any tips or how to set up the trap properly with our weather. Also a list of what I need wuld be great! Thank you

If you have never trapped before I would suggest you start with raccoon or muskrats first. When you get good at catching them then graduate to fox and coyote. Get your education on the easier animals first, then go on to your post graduate degree and target the more intelligent animals. Just a suggestion, good luck.

Buy some red fox urine, some red fox gland lure, 1.5 coil spring traps, rebar stakes ( cross stake traps).. Dirt hole set use backing put urine and some gland lure on backing.. Set trap pan in front of hole 2 inches and offset 1 inch for fox..go to Trapperman.com and read through their archives and talk to people on forum...excellent site to learn trapping..many great trapper who love to share their knowledge
