well today started off pretty rough but we saw a few birds (only killed 2 mallards) with a crappy draw at the lake again. On the day I decided not to bring the camera out, a small buck swam across the lake out in front of us. That would have been a cool picture...a buck swimming past the dekes. I think tomorrow may bring some pheasants. ;D

I drove past one of my fields yesterday and seen lots of ducks circling it and a few geese in the air. I wanted to stop and see how many were already there and watch to see what was still to show up but I had to get my granddaughter to her swim meet. Looks like it may be a good turkey day shoot.  |

To bad that you can't shoot geese at the Kank till after Nov. 22 it's part of the SJBP.
