The crew & I headed north this weekend..... I limited on Friday with 2 redheads, 2 bluebills, bufflehead There were 5 redhead limits taken on Friday all drakes but one. Sat and Sun I ran the tender for the boys.... Heres a sample of the results    |

We nailed Scaup, buffle neads and a huge mallard drake. - can you imagine a kid- 13 yrs old, has been hunting 6 time total, all this season. His take for the year: two canadas, a bull mallard, two buffleheads, and a scaup..... I think we've ruined him.

I really want a nice redhead on my wall, one of these days. Those were pretty ratty. I have one down at Shane Smith's right now. I killed it in Texas last january. Now that bird was PRIME!!!! |

I have seen a few redheads mixed in with flocks of other species, but not in big numbers.
