In the little spare time I've mustered between honeydo and bowhunting, I've been working on a little project for waterfowl season... She's almost done (I've gotten a lot farther on her than when this was taken). Its a marshboat ala Too Tall Neandertal on the Missouri hunting boards. Made from pink foam sheets, PL adhesive, pine, and oak ply.

I've used PL construction adhesive throughout. I have great faith in that stuff. Its not something you want to misplace a glob of. I'm only out of square a bit on one transom support, so I should be fine. I think one piece of foam would float a person of my stature, but you would get a little damp. She gets glassed this weekend, then painted as soon as the epoxy cures.

Sounds like a fun project. I go easy swingung the champagne bottle though, might bust her up! If I was skinny, I could be Gilligan, Woody the professor, Mbogo Mr. Howell, and we'll let jstalljon, deertracks, bsutravis decide who wants to be which one of the "Honey bees". ;d Remember??

Put in a 5 hp electric generator and rig up a anode and a dropper for a cathode on that thing and it'll be just like work. On second thought, it would probably be a lot safer than some of the crews I work with, even with Gilligan on board. ;D Nice craft Chico!
