Took my partner and I longer to get the dekkes set than it did to limit out on Saturday! Once we shot out 4 bird limit(2 his, 2 mine), we had hundreds of birds trying to land on us. 90 birds buizzed me 3 times while my buddy was getting the truck- a matter of minutes after we shot. there were several hundred birds coming in and out of there. I was home by 9:30 AM cooking eggs.
Oh yeah- shot a banded bird!!!!!!!

Congrats man! Bling too.  Tons of geese flying Saturday morning while I was deer hunting too. Kind of wished I'd been goose hunting, that is until that lone doe wandered too close to the muzzleloader. ;D I keep telling myself to hang up the deer hunting for a morning and chase geese. A lot of geese lately. |

Will you guys please shoot those things so they can start coming down this way? We haven't had anything worth try to shoot since the October season, and it was way down this year.

I'd shoot em all if I could. but shooting 2 out of 90 really doesn't do much. These are local birds, and won't fly even if told the way to go. But I'll do my best.
Funny thing, the ones I'd send keep turining up dead infront of my blind!
